We just kept making, and this happened.
OK KA is a handmade candle brand from Thailand, founded by two scent lovers. Starting from scratch — learning to choose wax, blend scents, and pour candles by hand — every product is made with genuine care.
We didn't think too much at the beginning.
We just loved the smell of things. Loved the feeling of a candle burning in the room. One day, we thought — why not try making one ourselves.
We had no idea what we were doing.
We didn't know the difference between waxes. We couldn't get the scent ratios right. The first batch came out uneven, and the smell wasn't what we wanted at all.
But somewhere in the process, there was this quiet focus.
Not thinking about anything else. Just doing this one thing. We liked that feeling.
So we kept going.
Slowly, we started to understand each ingredient — a little less lemongrass, add the osmanthus later, shift the cedarwood ratio just slightly, and the whole thing becomes something completely different.
Every scent we make has a reason behind it. Not made for the sake of making. We genuinely love that smell — that's why it exists.
That's how OK KA started.
No grand beginning. Just two people who loved scent, kept making, and found that it made them really happy.
We're in Thailand, making candles from the smells of this place. When you light one, we hope you feel more than just the scent — we hope you feel that someone made this carefully, with warmth.
