How We Divided a Day by Scent

We noticed that scent has a time of day.

The same candle, lit in the morning versus the evening, feels completely different. Not because the scent changed — but because you did. The morning version of you and the evening version of you need different things.

So we didn't make one candle that does everything.

We broke a day apart and gave each part its own scent.

Morning needs clarity.

The windows aren't fully open yet. The air still has a coolness to it. What you need isn't something sweet or heavy — it's that feeling where you take one deep breath and something in you wants to move.

Morning Light Forest was made for that morning.

Evening needs letting go.

The day is done. Whatever happened today, by this point you don't have to think about it anymore. Light a candle. Let the room become something different.

Moonlight Breeze was made for that night.

The afternoon, we couldn't decide for you.

Because there are too many kinds of afternoons.

Some afternoons, you want to find someone, sit down, and talk — catch up, have tea, take your time. Some afternoons, you just want to be alone. No talking. Just this.

These two afternoons feel completely different. They need different scents.

So we made two.

Girl's Talk is for the afternoon with someone. The Gallery is for the afternoon alone.

Which one do you want today?

Then there's the all-day one.

Some people prefer one scent from morning to night — no switching, just let the fragrance carry the whole day through. First Meeting was made for that.

The packaging is part of this too.

We use traditional Thai bamboo weaving for our packaging. Bamboo has a sense of time about it — it takes time to grow, time to weave, and when you hold it you can feel that someone made this carefully.

Same as the way we make our candles.

OK KA isn't a brand that wants you to buy a lot of candles.

We just hope you find the one that fits your moment, light it, and let some part of today slow down.
