OK KA Is More Than Candles

We want to tell you something.

OK KA started with candles. But life is more than candles.

Our lives have a lot of things in them.

We light candles, and we light incense. We study crystals and collect scents from different places — Japanese temple incense, local Thai incense, incense from Nepal. Each one has its own smell and its own story. The seven chakra crystal set came from our belief in energy, and our belief that the body needs to be taken care of.

These are things we use ourselves. We use them, we love them, and then we want to share them with you.

So OK KA became a curated space.

Not because we wanted to sell more things. But because life is too big to be told by one candle.

Everything we bring in has one standard — we genuinely use it, we genuinely love it. Not because it looks good. Not because we think it'll sell. Because it has a real place in our lives.

We also believe every moment in life deserves to be treated well.

Not just the good ones. The hard ones too.

When things are going well, light a candle — let the moment be a little more beautiful. When things aren't, light one anyway. Or pick up a crystal. Or burn a stick of incense. Give yourself a small ritual that tells your body: this moment will pass too. OK ka.

We start from Thailand.

This is where we live, and where we look for things. We search for objects with stories in them, bring them into OK KA, and hope that when they arrive at your home, you feel more than just a useful object — you feel a little bit of Thai life. Slow, warm, unhurried.
